smiths-tropical-paradise-aerial-shot.jpgSmiths Luau is held on a beautiful 30 acre garden known as Smith's Tropical Paradise. After check in, a complimentary tran tour takes you on a guided tour of the lush grounds. The tram is wheelchair accessible and includes a full narration from the driver.

You can also stroll through Smiths Tropical Paradise botanical garden on your own.

luau-hawaii-walking-path.jpgShortly before dinner, the best Imu ceromony on island takes place. Learn all about this ancient cooking method as a roasted pig is removed from the Imu oven.

imu-ceremony-luau-kauai.jpgAfter the imu ceremony it is time for your luau feast. This is an all-you-can-eat affiar and we can encourage everyone to come to this luau on an empty stomach. Try to have a very light lunch so you have room for seconds. You must leave room for dessert too.

Activities of Kauai loves this luau dinner. It has all the local favorites like kalua pork, beef teriyaki, chicken adobo, and sweet’n’sour mahimahi. Sample our ono local specialties like lomi salmon, fresh poi, Hawaiian sweet potato, mac salad, namasu salad and most excellent tropical desserts!

Drinks included!

Activities Of Kauai is pleased to inform you that beer, wine and mai tais are all included on this luau. There is a two drink maximum per-person per trip to the bar. Make sure you know who is driving, and you can utilize Smiths luaus free transport service if you are staying on the eastside of Kauai. None alocholic drinks are available too!

Move to the rhythm with colorful, authentic performances from Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, Philippines, New Zealand, China and Japan in our spacious open-air, torch-lit “Pele Amphitheater” (complete with erupting volcano!).

Directions to Smiths Tropical Paradise

From the North (Hanalei, Princeville, Kapaa): Take Hwy. 56 South through Kapaa to the Wailua River. Go past Kuamoo road, over the river, and take the first right into the Wailua Marina State Park.

From the South (Waimea, Poipu, Lihue): Take Hwy. 56 North from the Lihue airport. A mile after the Wailua Golf Course, watch for Marina signs and the beach on the right. Just before crossing the Wailua River bridge, turn left into the Wailua Marina State Park.
