Wailua River Kayak & Waterfall Hike
Guided Tours: Monday - Friday
- This is Kauai's most popular kayak activity. The Wailua River offers the perfect setting for kayaking, where you'll paddle 2 miles each way up to a trailhead accessible only by boat. From there, a 1-mile hike through a Hawaii Jungle leads you to a beautiful waterfall. The tour option includes a 1-hour stop at the waterfall, allowing you time to swim and soak in the breathtaking setting. Return the way you came, completing a 5-hour tour that's certainly an adventure!

Kayak Rental
Riverside Pick up | No Hauling | Monday - Friday
For those wanting to do the Wailua Kayak & Waterfall Hike on their own, this is the best option. Just check in at our river location and walk your kayak to the launch point. We have early morning and early afternoon rental times, and you get the kayaks for 5-hours, same duration as the guided tours.
Riverside Pick up | No Hauling | Monday - Friday
This is the same rental option as above. The only difference is the kayaks are delivered to river launch point. No check in office.
Grab & Go Kayak Rental Options | Open Daily
Stop by shop and we'll help load your kayaks up on your vehicle. Most do the waterfall hike but you drive your kayaks anywhere for some river fun and excitement. Open daily and you get kayak for a full day.
Hanalei River & Ocean Lagoon Paddle
The Morning Bay Explorer Tour - $149
- This is the only river and ocean kayak combo available in Kauai. Experience the feeling of old Hawaii. Learn about Kauai’s rich history, legends, and folklore from your friendly and knowledgeable guide. Visit the home of the Hawaiian green sea turtle and snorkel amongst the beautiful reefs exploring the abundant marine life, followed by a relaxing lunch on a secluded beach. No kayaking experience required for these tours. All snorkel gear (corrective lenses available upon request), waterproof bags and delicious deli style lunch provided.
The Afternoon Bay Explorer Tour - $135
- The afternoon tour is similar to the morning tour. It's a little cheaper as lunch is not included and runs about one hour shorter. You still get the experience of kayaking the river and bay of Hanalei.
Na Pali Kayak
The Ultimate ALL-DAY Adventure
- Explore the stunning Na Pali Coast on a guided kayak tour starting from North Shore Kauai and ending in Polihale. Paddle along towering cliffs, visit sea caves, and snorkel among vibrant marine life. Enjoy picnic lunches on secluded beaches and marvel at the beauty of this remote coastline. Led by experienced guides, this half-day adventure offers an unforgettable experience while ensuring your safety.
- This is a super physical tour and you should have some kayak experience under your belt. The paddle is long. You''ll get some breaks along the way when you visit sea caves and take lunch on the beach.
