Kauai snorkeling: choose your ocean adventure
Updated

We offer several ways to combine Kauai's coastal scenery with time in the water. The right snorkel trip depends on your preferred boat, departure location and the type of day you want. Our captain chooses the route and snorkel stop for the day's conditions.
Na Pali by catamaran
Our sea tour page includes sailing, shaded seating, larger decks and smaller sea-cave explorer options. Some trips include meals, while others offer different onboard features. Open the individual trip details to see what is included before choosing your date.
A raft adventure close to the water
Our raft page brings together super rafts with forward-facing seats and traditional Zodiac-style boats with pontoon seating. These trips combine coastal sightseeing with snorkeling when conditions allow. Our seasonal beach-landing option also adds a guided walk ashore.
Offshore toward Niihau
For a longer ocean adventure, we depart Port Allen, explore Na Pali and head toward the waters near Niihau or Lehua when conditions allow. This trip does not include a landing on privately owned Niihau.
Plan around the conditions
A snorkel location is selected for the day, rather than promised in advance. Review the tour's guest requirements and departure instructions. For an independent beach day, our beaches guide offers island-area ideas; check current local conditions and posted guidance before entering the water.
